Road to Perdition…

After a month of spending those wonderful moments at some better part of the world, it’s very depressing to see the not-so-good conditions of “yeh mera India“. I won’t say that I don’t love my country, but why don’t people understand, when will their grey cells start popping out ??

Experiencing the brilliant state-of-art transport system of US/UK, I was darn impressed, infact that is the one thing I’d love to see in India in coming future. You do whatever hell you want to do with your vehicle, but going off the lane and not obeying the obvious rules can lead you to some serious trouble. Those well built roads and those indicative signals reduce your chances of going off your route. And ofcourse your well designed automatic car will offer you the best support that is possible.

After driving kickass cars there ,though just for few secs, I went for a ride on my dear sunshine car here after a month and I felt too low seeing the way people are driving here.. no signals, excessive and worthless honking and what not. Probably I’ve still not forgotten those memories behind as I’ve never thought in a way I am thinking now. Just to quote, the pedestrians are on a high priority there, you can just screw your vehicle, but pedestrian should be given way to cross the road before you move on, how sweet!! And what I saw today is just the opposite, people don’t care who the hell is pedestrian. “tere baap ki sadak hai kya ?” or “andhaa hai kya ?” ..similar obnoxious thoughts on their minds. I really feel that driving in US is very much easy and safe than driving in India. There are only some sets of rules which you’ve to follow there but here you are always in dilemma which side to follow, and ultimately “who cares”..

And that well organized and classified routes gives a way to GPS (Global positioning system) one of the best technology I’ve seen so far. You drive a car and just forget of that maze like routes where you wanna go. Satellite will take care and your device will vocally guide you to your destination, infact it saved plentiful of our time and ofcourse money wherever we went. If you are in US/Canada, you’ll never regret buying one if you own/rent a car. I wish if this could be ever possible in India, but with negative hopes :(

I am frustrated, even afer obeying traffic rules here which everyone should ofcourse, some people don’t want us to do so, so unconventional .. so pathetic.. :(

Just as a request, be a little polite and try your utter best to obey the traffic rules  next time you go for a drive so that there could be a blogger at some other part of the world praising our country too…

 My heart weeps :(( ..
