View from my Window

Stars shine again but at New York City this time . This is the view at the moment from the window of a place where I am living right now with beautiful Empire State Building changing color of the flood lights every evening. Its been almost 2 weeks since I am at this place, and I am very much getting a feel of American Culture. If there’s a sense of perfectionism at one corner there’s a diverse culture one can see at other. Whether you go to Chinatown here to have a feel of Chink land or you go to Jackson Heights to sense that typical Indian environment there, you never realize that you are miles away from your homeland.

In just few days now I’m fairly acquainted with the locations, transport and the rules and regulations here, never thought it could be that simple. Infact,roaming in the city visiting fun-filled places, museums, central park and even some places of historic interest with some dollars in my pocket , I never felt so comfortable earlier, thanks to extreme urbanization and all those automated systems.

These guys strictly believe in the fact “In God we Trust” which you’ll see engraved on every coin and printed on the currency. They won’t care about you and would be least bothered on whatever you do, be it smooching in a local metro train or your hippy and funky hair style. I liked that.. I liked that..

From downtown to uptown, New York City is too busy with people rushing from dawn to dusk to earn their living, some running to catch the train and there are others who don’t want to miss their yoga classes. TIME has value here, no matter how much work you do in weekdays, weekends are meant to party hard. I’m still waiting for the desi party culture which hopefully I’ll acknowledge soon

There are several other things still to be written, but I’ll better utilize my time to go out and have a coffee at Starbucks watching awesome view of the downtown night scene

Everything is so well organized and simple that you actually want to live or visit such places again and again, really a place to be. Will surely write more about this place later.

My photography skills also have improved a lot clicking so many pictures through the window and some random “objects” in the city .. ha ha
